Yesterday we went to a picnic at the house of a man that Dan works with. He has been having this picnic yearly since 1972. We lovingly refer to it as the "hippy picnic". The first thing we saw as we walked up to the house was these adorable alpacas.
Dan does not do well at picnics these days. He gets so hot and cannot enjoy himself. At the last minute we decided to go anyway. This picnic was close to home and he was able to spend s
ome time in the car cooling down.

There were two live bands at the picnic. One was rock and the other was bluegrass. I thought they were both great. The food was awesome too but my favorite was chicken that was cooked on the grill. Our friend James brought chilli that I am hoping to get more of some time. (hint hint)
